10:00 AM. * The arrival of The Most Venerable Thich Man Giac, Dr. - President of the Congregation of Vietnamese Buddhists in the United States and the Venerable Monks and Nuns representing surrounding temples to officiate the Inauguration of Phuoc Hau Resident Priest. * Opening of altar - Incense Offering. * The Board of Directors submits the invitation to the new Resident Priest. * The Great Reverend Thich Man Giac, reads the Official Letter of Appointment appointing Venerable Thich Nu Gioi Huong to the post of Resident Priest for Phuoc Hau Buddhist Temple. * The prayer of promise from the Board of Directors and Venerable Thich Nu Gioi Huong. * Thank you remarks from the Board of Directors.
11:00 AM * Taking The Refuge and Precepts Ceremony for new members. 12:00 PM * Foods and Gifts Offering for the Sangha 1:00 PM * Conclusion of the Official Ceremony.
4:00 PM * Foods Offering for Beings of Other Worlds.

A Note about the Inaugural Ceremony: - By the appointment of the Most Venerable Thich Man Giac, president of Congregation of Vietnamese Buddhists in the United States and the heartfelt invitation of Phuoc Hau Buddhist Temple of Milwaukee, its members and friends, Venerable Thich Nu Gioi Huong has graciously accepted our invitation to be the Resident Priest of Phuoc Hau Buddhist Temple in Miwaukee Wisconsin. This is a momentous occasion since 1992 that Phuoc Hau again has a resident priest.
- Venerable Thich Nu Gioi Huong has become a nun since 1978 and has been in religious study ever since. She completed her Doctorate in Buddhology of the University of Delhi in 2003. She has been visiting Phuoc Hau Temple since January of this year. We are so gracious that she accepts our invitation to stay in Milwaukee in the role of spiritual leader of the Vietnamese Buddhist community in Milwaukee and SE Wisconsin.
- Due to health reason, the Most Venerable Thich Man Giac will be represented by the Most Venerable Thich Phuoc Thuan, abbot of Tri Phuoc Pagoda, Westminster CA.
